This is my first attempt at a value painting. I decided to try a portrait, since I just finished a drawing class on portraits. I know it needs help, but I can almost tell who it is supposed to be, which is good for me:) I can make people look like people, but not like they look like... make sense? I had fun trying, which is the best part. I just wanted to share it with all of you and see what you think!

that is amazing!! If you really are serious I would love to be able to stay some days at your house I think im getting a place in south ogden and am just going to drive the kids everyday until the end of school. I love this picture, you have such a gift. I'm so glad you got to meet laura, It was so sad to say goodbye, but not forever, Her parents are planning to come out and fly to LA and then rent a motorhome, so then We can see her again and also them, It was such a great experience to have her, she'll be in my heart forever. talk to you later
